CANON. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
OOC PREFERENCES.
→ CONTACT:maledictions is the easiest and fastest means of reaching me, but a PM is always fine. Alternatively, you can catch me on AIM (kyotoshowgirl)
→ FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Canon puncturing is always fine and welcome, but fourth walling no.
→ BACKTAGGING: Always.
→ THREADJACKING: Completely fine.
→ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Anything regarding sexual assault/abuse & rape are very touchy with me. Please contact me before initiating anything of that nature.
→ PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/Her is fine.
IC CHARACTERISTICS.
→ CANON POINT: Vol 99 Ch. 76 - "D4C 9"
→ PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Standing at 5'6" and of slim build, Diego is actually a little tall for a jockey. Blonde hair and blue eyed, Diego's not all that bad on the eyes. Diego dresses as one would expect a jockey to dress in a comfortable sweater, riding pants, and boots. He also has a belt buckle with DIO plastered on it and his riding helmet also has DIO on the front. Of course, that's when he's appearing 100% human. When Diego activates Scary Monsters, his Stand, he takes on a half-human, half-dinosaur look where his skin begins transforming more into scales. The corners of his mouth peel back into nearly a Glasgow smile with sharp fangs and claws. When he goes full dinosaur. Then he's a blueish Utahraptor with DIO in black and yellow scales down the length of his body.
→ DEMEANOR: Diego is not here to impress anyone. He's very focused on what he wants and his goals, so attention to others usually only comes about when he views them as competition or potentially standing in the way. The only other, and much rare exception, is if intervening with another person will benefit Diego's goals in some capacity. Otherwise, he simply doesn't get involved even when he can plainly see that someone else could use a hand. He does enjoy shitty puns though and is willing to have a small amount of admiration/respect for people if they're able to fight to get to the top.
→ ABILITIES: As previously mentioned, Diego has a Stand that allows him to transform into a dinosaur. Scary Monsters also enhances Diego's other senses, particularly heightened smell and motion-sensitive vision. (Though the latter means he is somewhat blind if nothing is moving.) In addition to being able to turn himself into a dinosaur, Diego also has the ability to infect other living creatures with a virus that will also transform them into dinosaurs that must obey his will. (More on this in the opt-out portion!) Diego can also fossilize anything he transforms and his dinosaurs can infect other creatures through bites and scratches.
Finally, beyond his Stand, Diego is an incredibly talented jockey. He's world-renowned for his talent and he possesses a deeper understanding of horses.
→ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Being rude about his horse and insulting his pride. That's really about it.
IC PERMISSIONS.
→ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: I'm not really sure why you'd want to, but go for it.
→ MENTAL: Talk to me first, but I'm definitely open to it.
→ MIMICRY: Talk to me first, but I'm definitely open to it.
→ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'm good for this, but we might want to chitchat some because he's unfairly overpowered.
→ PSYCHOLOGICAL VIOLENCE: Talk to me first, but I'm definitely open to it.
→ MAGIC: Talk to me first, but I'm definitely open to it.
→ DEBATE: He's highly opinionated, but go for it.
→ CHARACTER DEATH: Talk to me first, but I'm not inherently opposed to it.
OPT-OUT PERMISSIONS.
Diego's Stand Scary Monsters has the ability to turn any living thing into a dinosaur that must obey his command. This likely includes a number of player characters. While I have no intention of him utilizing this ability towards human(oids) so much, it might potentially come up. Therefore, it is perfectly alright if you wish to opt out in advance! If you choose not to opt out, don't worry. I will always ask permission for that sort of thing before attempting it.
